Lycoming Children & Youth Services, as a program of Lycoming-Clinton Joinder, is pleased to share information about an important coalition and their upcoming discussion series to help make Pennsylvania’s communities more trauma aware, and how we can support healing for those affected by trauma.

Experiencing or witnessing violence and abuse is very traumatic for children and is considered an Adverse Childhood Experience (ACEs). According to the CDC, “Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) can have a tremendous impact on future violence victimization and perpetration, and lifelong health and opportunity implications.
